Healthcare-ID, Inc. (H-ID) announces Industry Workshop at 2012 AABB convention

Internet Computer Assisted Self Interview to be topic of workshop sponsored by H-ID

Buffalo Grove, IL, January 23, 2012 – Buffalo Grove, IL, January 23, 2012 – Healthcare-ID, Inc., announces the recent signing of an agreement with Dak-Minn Blood Bank in partnership with Altru Health System in Grand Forks, North Dakota to install its Donor-ID WebTM software in their blood collection locations. Rick Stone, President of Healthcare-ID, said that “Donor-ID WebTM, a product cleared (510k) by the FDA, helps to ensure the safety of America’s blood supply through positive donor identification and computer verification of critical data at the collection site. We are very pleased to have been selected to provide this ‘mission critical’ application and look forward to a long partnership.”

Donor-ID WebTM is used to collect over 7,000,000 units of blood annually at 11 other blood centers across the United States: Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center in Houston, TX; Memorial Blood Center in St Paul, MN; Mississippi Blood Services in Jackson, MS; Oklahoma Blood Institute in Oklahoma City, OK; Coffee Memorial Blood Center in Amarillo, TX; Blood Bank of Delmarva in Newark, DE; Stanford Blood Center in Palo Alto, CA; ITxM with Central Blood Bank, Pittsburgh, PA and LifeSource Blood Services, Chicago, IL; LifeStream, San Bernardino, California; and The American Red Cross, nationwide.”
